Have 35 hp , motor idles fine and reves up fine in neutral. Put motor un gear and take off , motor then bogs down ,place finger over carp port as if choking it, motor will then speed up and run. Any suggestions.
Carburetor is dirty, especially the high speed orfice plug. It is deep in the hole behind the hex plug on the bottom/front of the carb. Takes a special screwdriver to get it out. It must be absolutely clean with no trace of any kind of coating on it, or you will get the symptoms you are getting.
