Impeller storage or replacement

I have a volvo aq131a and I am in the process of winterizing it. The manual says to pull the impeller and store it for next season as long as the fins straighten out quickly. I was wondering what are the opinions about just replacing it every spring or do you reuse the old with a new gasket. Thanks for your thoughts.

On the more modern engines they recommend replacing yearly. I would never install a used impeller.
