impeller or water flow info needed

I changed the impeller in my 1994 force 120 and its putting water through it and my question is ---- the water coming out the pee hole, is it just a steady flow of water? Or should it be a hard stream shooting out? A lot of water is coming out and it is hot but not so hot you can?t touch it. The boat sat for 5 years and I forgot what it was like then.

normal water pressure from outboards of this kind is around 12 psi. The water coming out of the pee hole should be warm but not real hot that you cant hold your hand in it for less than 3-4 seconds. Ive always used a lot of grease to get my impeller back in. It slides in easier and it doesnt stick on the initial running of the motor.
