Re: I'm turned off by PC retailers (rant)
when I was young, second grade, I lived in pascagoula MS, had moved there from newportnews VA. had a black kid as a friend and invited him to church, he could not go as at that time calvary babtist was not intergrated. taught me a lesson in christanity at an early age. as I got older and expanded my circle of friends and aquaintances not all were christian, however I wish them merry christmas just the same, the will usually reply with a happy hannukah or kwanza or whichever greeting is appropriate for their religion. I enjoy it.
most realize I am not going to shove my religion down their throat and I ask the same.
while I dont support the 10 commandments in a courthouse I dont see why stores have gone so PC.
the court house thing and public property displays may lead to things mainstream does not like so its best to eliminate them all.
who wants to see a pentagram or a buddist saying or even verses of the koran next to the 10 commandments? or maybe the other way around, heck then we could fight on which one gets the highest point on the wall.
myself I have no problems with christian symbols on public property, but if you allow one you must allow all and thats when the problems start.
