Actually he's right.<br />It's the Greek letter Chi(X) which is the first letter of the Greek word for Christ. Commonly seen is this form.<br />

The Chi Rho<br />a monogram of the first two letters, Chi (X) and Rho (P), of the Greek word for Christ.
