ee,

I'm pretty tough, but the dentist takes me to my knees. I have all the problems: gag reflex, sensative teeth, etc.

With all that, I have yet to find a dentist that will "gas" me or give enough numbing agent. I "come out of the chair", with healthy teeth, at a cleaning.

A visit to the dentist, for me, is pure torture.

They are all sadistic "**)())*&^, in my view.

I'm already "feeling your pain". ;)

I have more trouble with the Dental Assistants trying to train for the Inquisition. Maybe we should send a bunch of them to Gitmo to clean the prisoners teeth, they would be begging to tell us everything they know. :)

I got lucky and filled at $2.87 in Menomonee Falls right as the prices were jumping. Problem I have is driving to and from school and work means I have to fill up a lot.

Good luck Sean on Sunday. I was going to suggest Pewaukee over the River Anyways...........its closer, plenty big, and well rivers have more obstructions to make ur first trip a nasty one.

No you not stupid......BUT I think Sean was relating the feeling one gets before going to the dentist to the "pain" he knows he will feel at the pump to fill his boat now that he has one.

A dollar ten a LITRE here. THat is 4.26 a gallon our money!! or about 4.70 after the exchange rate. You guys have it easy, our gov't taxes our tax and then taxes it again. We just elected a new leader that said he would stop that but he renigged on that promise. :(

Sorry about that DJ -- the post made sense in my head... sometimes the cobwebs cloud judgement :D

Yeah, I was trying to make the link between getting dental work done and filling up my tank on the boat for the first time. I guess I didn't provide a very good sedgeway.

:D

ee,

No sweat. How'd it go? The appointment, NOT the gas purchase?

Actually that's only $3.65/gallon USD. Not counting the taxes you're probably paying less than we are.

DJ,
The sick feeling in the pit of the stomach Dentist part was an analogy referring to the sick feeling of dumping the better part of a Franklin or more into the gas tank of your 19-foot boat. It's the price we rich white honkys pay to flaunt our affluence. After we put in our 60+ hour work week that is.
