I've got a bookcase that measures 30" by 80" that holds about 100 VHS tapes. Most of these tapes were recorded by myself (not store bought tapes) of various movies released in the '80's and recorded on my VHS machine from cable or airway source. Yep, real old school stuff.
I haven't watched them in over 20 years yet I'm reluctant to just throw them out. I started to go through them just now to check titles etc but I kept putting them back on the shelf instead of tossing them into them trash can.
Another bookcase has over 300 audio cassette tapes I recorded off air from a local Bluegrass music station. I love bluegrass music. Some of those tapes contain personal messages from the DJ to me or my family dedicating a song.
I made all those recordings long before there was easy access to the Internet to listen or view the same songs/videos.
I'd appreciate any feedback encouraging me to throw this stuff out or saving it for whatever reason.
