Uhhhh...Hp is a measurement based on torque. What's the myth? I agree HP is not meaningless.
Since you need torque along with RPM to calculate HP, it does kinda matter.

I would love to see you apply 210 ft lb of torque with the radius of the crankshaft of the engine you are comparing yourself to. Personally, I can apply 1000 ft lbs of torque given a lever long enough.

I don't have any particular problem with any of these statements. If taken on face value, they are all true, with the possible exception of the dual prop thing.
