Got a Mercury 1500, 150 H.P. SN# 4256719<br />not sure of the year? Wiring up a QuickSilver<br />switch, not sure of the wiring. Where can I get the wiring conversion ? Colored wires do not match with old ones. Any help would be great.I got the Red one figured out.

Sorry, can't help much with the 150HP,as I don't have the book. But I just completed the conversion of a "MerControl" to "Quicksilver" single on a 20HP. It was a bear even with the manual and OHM meter.<br />Just be care of the rectifier. Disconnect it durring the conversion so as not to blow it.<br />The reat is pretty much safe,but man!!!<br />Whatta mess.

Thanks Man, it is calogger@bellsouth.net<br />I got it wired, I finally broke down and Ordered the exact replacement, it had the same designations, so I just matched it up. Got it started, fired right up, then cut if off and closed everthing up and now it is just spinning, think it might be the starter or solinoid. I will still take the diagram, so I can tell what designation goes to what.\<br />Thanks, again.
