I have a 1972 50 HP Evinrude with Electric Shift. I am replacing the ignition switch since the key broke off in the old one. I hooked up the wires, but it doesn't work, so I am assuming that I have a wire wrong somewhere. I have 4 prongs to hook to (BA)Battery (ST)Starter? 2(IGN) Ignition?... The old one had 5 and different letters on them. I know the Red one goes to the BA... But where do the rest of the wires go? There is 1 white wire and some black and purple wires, one with a stripe on it... 1 wire comes from the choke, some from the elec shift and some from the wires from the motor cable... Can someone please help me out here.... Thanks
