Hello,
This Is My First Boat And It's A 17' Center Console With A 1995 Evinrude 48 Spl. I've Messed With Car Motors Before But Never A Marine Engine. This Season I Went To Fire It Up But There Was No Spark. After Running The Tests With A Multimeter, I Decided To Change Pretty Much The Entire Ignition System. The Coil Pack Was Changed Last Year So I Did Everything Behind It. Now When I Reassemble The Flywheel And I Go To Crank The Motor, The Electrical Guts Under The Flywheel Decide To Rotate With It Until The Wires Hold It Shut. Did I Miss Something During Reassembly That Prevents The Copper Coils And All That Junk From Spinning? Any Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated.
