Jason...if he paid and it is on hold I would ship it....

you have the funds and if you send it via Signature confirmation the funds will clear as soon as he accepts it...you can also call paypal as soon as it's signed and you can prove it they will take the hold off....this is what I have done

No worrys any more. He left postive feedback and the hold lifted. Now it's gonna take another 5 dang days for paypal to actually put the money in my account.
Even though that is pending, i'll meet the guy halfway and probably ship it tommorow.

You might want to take a minute and report this to ebay because I can't believe that this really is in their best interest overall.
"Forcing" a positive feedback just to complete a transaction, apart from the legal questions already raised, makes a mockery of ebay's supposed rating system, and makes thjem look Mickey Mouse....no offense intended to MM....:)

Kind of funny how paypal blames Ebay and Ebay blames Paypal. There both the same company. Ebay bought paypal in 2002. Ever since tehn they have changed rules to make paypal the exclusive payment system for Ebay.

It's also a bit scary that there system can monitor your tracking numbers. Especially since they automatically record them if you by USPS postage through Paypal.

IIRC the paypal user agreement allows them to debit your bank account if a dispute is started after you transfer the funds from paypal.

I have never liked paypal. I just would not give ANYONE access to my checking acount. e-bay's new payment policy is why I no longer shop e-bay. I used to check e-bay first for everything, but too few sellers accept credit cards and none are allowed to take money orders it 's just not worth the effort.
