If you raise a rain barrel 10 feet high, and attach a garden hose what kind of pressure can you expect from gravity alone.

It will allow you to wet the Vehicle. Down at the ground, the PSI is 4.33. Higher, like on Car Roof that is 5 feet above the ground, the pressure would be 2.165psi

simple enough to look up feet of head to pressure conversion.

2.31 feet of head = 1 PSI.

or in the metric system 10 meters of height is 1 bar of pressure ….

you could use a cordless pressure washer , 10 feet is enough gravity feed to keep a small unit primed , 50 or 60 litres would give a fair amount of run time. just check the GPH consumption of whatever washer you choose,

Lol. Definitely bored. 4 PSI sounds like a stream of pee.

Depends on how many beers you have had...

What you can do is get a 120v utility pump like this up to it - 40 psi max

something like that, probably be able to find a 12 V DC one if it was in a remote location

What's the best way to get over a hangover ?

Drink another beer .

Can't really count , if you haven't really stopped.

In reality, you have zero (0) pressure at the end of an open ended hose dumping to atmosphere.

The “pressure” you feel is the velocity of the water exiting the hose.

Yes, or knowing the weight a cubic foot of water, you can calculate it (y)
Fresh water or seawater. Having been a Navy firefighting and damage control instructor many years ago all that math was permanently stuck in my brain. I used to tell my students early in the course that if Toriccelli had used water rather than mercury it would be 33 feet high. That made it easier to understand why due to pump efficiency, vapor pressure, etc the maximum lift for a firefighting pump was around 15 feet.

A little update. I've had the cordless washer for a month. You can pick these up on Amazon or Ebay or FaceBook Marketplace for about $50 or less. They put out a surprising amount of spray considering it's battery operated. You can attach a soda bottle to the bottom and be completely portable which is handy in the winter months. If you need more water you can fill a bucket and siphon it instead while the taps are off. I would totally recommend these handy inexpensive pressure washers. I'll be keeping this in my car to spray down the boat and car , when packing up after a road trip.
