Why so much animosity aimed at a Democrat that ISN'T running for President? Save your strength for the contenders. You're going to need it. ;)

Just doin' our part to make sure it stays that way. Also trying to make sure that the entrenched leftist beauracracies and legislators do not act on any of Als sham science.

I for one PRAY you goobers actually nominate either Hillary or Obama. I saw a study the other day that asked who people would vote for if the election was today, whether Dem or Rep. It was about 70/30 your way. Then the survey plugged names in, i.e. Hillary VS McCain. Then the same people said 51/49. When it was Juliani VS Barak, it was even worse, 60/40 or thereabouts.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE nominate one of those two bafoons. Half our work will be done.

Stevie Ray,

(a brief pause in the playful animosity )

You get to Pax river much or out to The Solomons? First time I ever went up there was when I was in Arlington and stationed in the Pantygone and went to the Naval Rec Center on the Solomons for a week. Took my 17.5 foot Ebbtide around the point from the river into the Bay. Never again...Hence my tag line below. Girlfriend was chumming over the side.....

( back to our regularly scheduled programming)

No sir - I only have a Celebrity 230 cuddy so I stay pretty much up in the protected Middle & Gunpowder River areas. If I venture down towards the Bay Bridge, I can get beat up pretty bad. Will cross over to the Eastern Shore to Fairlee or Tolchester on good days when the Bay's sitting down, though.

Ever been up to APG or Edgewood Arsenal? Those are right in the stomping grounds.

Been to APG regularly. Currently working a program with the DTC there. I lived in Bowie for a while and worked in Adelphi (College Park) at a facility there. Kept the boat at Belvoir in the marina there. The Potomac could get a little chop in some places, but after the bay incident, I kept inland. After I left Maryland I moved up to a 22 cuddy and am now looking at a 25 foor aft cabin. If not this year, next year. Thinking about dragging the boat I have over the mountains to go to Deep Creek Lake in Western Md this summer. If you've never been there, it's beautiful.

IMHO, I think you are wrong about Obama and right on about Hillary. If you look at Obama's smooth engaging very comfortable style, (when he visited out here [near Seattle] he was elevated to 'rock star status' and lived up to the billing). His handlers let him engage the media or others with ease where Hillary's team wouldn't dare. Hillary has very high negatives based on a real track record, (the Queen o' mean), that will be hard to hide from if she gets the brass ring. Obama is actually to the left of Hillary but his very left record is not well known, (so many of the uninformed, and government dependant victims will just vote for the pretty face of the "Magic Negro*", (*courtesy LA Times). I might be wrong, but not likely. John Edwards is also a much bigger and more distructive farther left populist threat. I would recomend some respect for those very capable candidates. My $.02, JR GO HILLARY!!

Well Murky,
You may have a point there. Which may also be the very reason I am not a political analyst. I do wonder though, if he could really pull it off. I mean, I know what DC did with Marion Berry, even AFTER he was released, but do you really think a relative newbie to politics, despite the pedigree, could carry enough of the minority, female, democratic vote to do it? I can't help but think, that just as there are those that will vote for his race alone, and not the man, there are man more that will hold that card against him, no matter how wrong that may seem to the rest of us. Lets be real, it is still a factor and many people use it as a the crucible factor. Again, I'm not an analyst. Just pondering out loud. I guess the close we get to primary tim ethe sooner we'll know.

GO HILLARY!!! ( OMG, I'm gonna be ill ):%

Hey Gabby, I want Hillary to be the nominee, (NOT PRESIDENT), as she is the easiest to beat! I'm no analyst either but I do follow politics. Obama has a light, (but still sufficient and better then Hillary's) resume, but his charm and political skills are very formable, (Hillary's are awfull). The polling I have read about the race issue is very favorable for Obama. If the electorite were 10% as informed as you are: I would have less of a problem with him. That said: most Americans don't pay attention at all. Many of the fairer sex vote looks only. Think about his TV charm and appearance. Very scary to me, (but maybe only me). Respectfully, JR

Just saw the Al Gore Inconvenient Truth. He makes some good points BUT--He ignores the fact that ultimately, ALL our energy----even atomic; we need to mine and purify uranium before it is useful----comes from the sun. So, even if we did develop non CO2 producing sources, using energy liberates heat and IF we are the cause of global warming, nothing we do short of going back to our energy usage of the 17-1800s will slow it.

Murky,

No worries. I was also advocating Hillary winning the nod and commenting on the fact I even had that thought, NOT commenting on your thought. I was on your wavelength.

I think there are a few of us on this board that know the truth, and of course, there are our misguided brothers that don't. But just like a sibling that turns to the darker arts, we must try adn try to bring them in from the cold, dark, evil side of politics.

Hang in there lefties...we'll convert you yet. 8)8)

PW, I don't think we Republicans have a lock on that activity. I know it's early but take your reality pill. I was "teasing". We do that you know. Wa have a sense of humor.

Haute, she's in the Smithsonian. Paul is alive and well in Ohio. Well, maybe not well, he's in his 90's, but alive.

Paul's closer to The Box Car, it's at Wright Patterson in Dayton OH. Just as well pull them both out, dig up another pilot and Git-G-Done in half the time.

Yep Haut, as gabby stated, it's in the Smithsonian where the Libs tried desperately to turn it into an Anti-American, anti-bomb, anti-war exhibit! I do believe they finally got their soft little pacifist hands whacked.
