im having huge trouble out of my motor
it was giving me trouble idling to begin with then fuel line had a linner in it come apart and plugged up fuel system
i pulled carbs and cleaned everything all the back to the boat
fuel seems fine now but my idle is still a problem
i rebuilt fuel pump friday put boat in the water adj timing and ran about 10 gallon of gas threw it top speed 64 on gps idled great in gear and out
loading it throttled it up on trailed everything good
got it on water sat morning as soon as i started it it ran rough and wouldnt idle again
fished about 3 hoursand it was hard to start hit warm up lever and it would rev up put it neutral and it would die as soon as rpm came down
got it loaded cleaned fish put it back on water re adj idle timing and it ran great adj was locked down tight nothing moved something is not repeating sometimes
i can get it running smooth for a few weekends but it always comes back im at a loss when its bad there is a dead spot coming out of the hole and will die unless you feather it past it but once on top it runs fine never misses stop to fish and it wont idle when its good runs like a champ idles in gear and out can throttle push boat on trailer
