RICH = MORE fuel delivered to combustion chamber <br /><br />LEAN = LESS fuel delivered to combustion chamber<br /><br /><br />LEAN Mixture will cause just as many problems as a RICH Mixture!!!<br /><br />The idle screw adjusts this mixture of air to fuel ratio.<br /><br />Screwing the idle mixture screw IN will decrease fuel to air ratio & OUT will result in the opposite.<br /><br />If you do not know what you are doing this could result in poor idle, engine shutting down on you, etc... better left to someone with the expertise/knowledge of the settings.<br /><br />Hope this answered your question......<br /><br /><br />
