I just need a little insight as to what my engine is so I can looks for parts. My boat is a 1969-(so i have been told) fabuglas. 17 ft. My engine reads
395983 con 2- I have also been told it is a 120 hp motor.
there is also a plate on the out-drive that says mod cue 13e. I do know the out-drive is a omc. Any help our direction as to what engine I actually have would be much appreciated. - this will help me find a manual and some parts. I need to find a solenoid and some omc type O oil- it may say type c- i cant really see it too well. Thanks! Picture below.

Take a look here. Best OMC stringer history info I have found. There is a 1969 I-4 that looks like it.

Yep looks exactly like the 120 twin carb unit I sold a few months ago.
120 hp engines have no harmonic balancer pulley on the crank, they just have a bolt on pulley.
