I bought a 2 stroke merc supposed to be a 25 hp and I was told here with a serial no. 1025223 it is a 1983. When I go to order carb kit it dont show up, Can someone help

understand but tha "kits" are no longer available at any sight i've pulled up.... you might enter tha tillotson number on ebay and see what pops up....

Tillotson made many carbs and there will be many kits that you can get. you may have to buy one or two to get the gaskets. however if you are careful on tear down, you can usually limit it to a bowl gasket and a needle

Well Boys and Girls we got SPARK!!!!!It came at 1:30 EST. OHIO time. I feel like a new DAD. Just had my first born. Its a EVINRUDE 35 HP 2 STROKE Whoever had this bad boy before me put the black yellow stripe wire in outside space when it should have gone in the center to match the other fitting. . Been thinking about this black wire with yel. stripe for a day or so. One of you good fellows sent me a diagram of the wiring and B I N G O!. Waitin on a water pump to c if it will run. Thanks for all the help. I"ll be back. Merry Christmas to each of you. Maybe there is really a Santa Clause
