The data plate depending on the year will be between the transom clamps, a sticker on the midsection or you can see if you have a disc like this on the powerhead:

Gerry...Thanks for the feedback. I'm not even sure of an approximate year yet or the number of cylinders. The boat is in my son's back yard at present, so I'll check the leads that you gave me at my next opportunity.
