Ice Fishing

Anybody out on the ice this year? Season opens here Feb 1, can't wait. We had a fair bit of cold lately so there seems to be a decent amount of ice for a change. Only problem is we are forecast to have a snow storm today so getting to my fishing spots might be a challenge on the ATV.

For the last two years the ice fishing season has lasted about a week on my home lake in Central Pennsylvania. And then not for the faint of heart since a week ago Saturday only two (or possibly three depending on which report) fell through. The bright side it has been the first time in 55 years it could be fished by boat for all 12 months.

My ice shanty is on Clark Lake WI. the lake just froze over 2 weeks ago.
