Ice Drifts

I just saw on the news....ice drifts coming off of Lake Huron into 36 homes. Like a glacier only in fast forward. Wild. I've never seen anything like this before. Nature, go figure.

sad to see, a few home broken. they said it used to be a common occurance up untill a few years ago.

That's why many of the smaller lakes here in VT are drawn down before the ice. There is no way to draw down Huron and that is some serious damage. I guess that is a risk you take to live there.
