Talking heads kept saying they were the best conference in the country. Got 7 teams in I think. I'm a Big 10 guy so pardon my lack of sadness. Texas is no big surprise, some say they shouldn't have been in at all, kind of like UCLA. Oh wait! I gotta say though, the goal tending call at the end of that one was baffling.

I noticed. Trust me, I was watching the game and thought they had a very good chance even before the game started. They played well up until they had their 10 point lead and then SMU went on that 19-0 run. Glad they hung tight and didn't give up. This is a major rebuilding year after losing 3 #1 draft picks to the NBA.
Beautiful. That is hilarious. I'm an Iowa fan which means I have a certain amount of antipathy toward Iowa State especially since they beat us. ISU is really a very talented team but they seem to be a bunch of head cases and you never know which team is going to show up. On paper they should have squished UAB flat but that team didn't make it to the game.
