I ordered a throttle cable from iboats and it came in a pizza box 0_o

Just out of curiosity, was the box printed and say PIZZA on it, or was it plain white box about the size of a pizza box.
It's very possible that iboats buys several thousand different cables directly from the manufacturer, and to get a break on price, they are not packaged in boxes.
iboats could then buy boxes the size of a cable or 2 or 3 for shipping. Perhaps it's the pizza people using iboats cable boxes.

Gee, I hate to be the one to tell you, but that is how Mallory packages their cables. Not iboats. And guess what, it does not say pizza on it all all. Just the same type box.

iboats is merely a third party go between buyer and seller.
iboats has no inventory to ship out.
You order something via iboats, not from iboats.
iboats is like a non-stocking distributor.
At least that is what I deciphered from the "About iboats" link at the top of this page.

I recieved via UPS from iboats yesterday , a pair of control cables and a pitot tube. The pitot tube was backed in between the two cable boxes and the boxes were taped together.The cable boxes were not pizza style boxes.
