My uncle is retired has sold his home, nowhere to store his toys, everything goes with him.<br />He has a big motorhome that he lives in, tows his fullsize Chevy 1 ton, Honda atv in the back, custom made "ladder rack" carries his 14' boat and trailer on top.<br /><br />Anyway, the ladder rack has tracks that the trailer wheels fit into and roll in. To get the boat and trailer down, he rolls the trailer forward till he can attach the hitch to a ball mounted on a hoist, which is mounted on the back of the motorhome. <br /><br />He then unhooks the truck from the motorhome, and starts to back out from under the trailer. He then attaches the hook from the pickup's winch to the back of the trailer, then backs the truck up a couple more feet.<br /><br />He then gets out and uses the two remote winch controls to lower the boat and trailer to the ground.<br /><br />Reverse operation to load it up.<br />He takes this rig everywhere, Alaska, Canada, Wyoming, California, Texas.<br /><br />Built it all himself in his son-in-laws shop, says it cost him about a grand for the extra winch and the materials.<br /><br />Wish I had a picture to show you guys.
