is it possible that we are being hoaxed?<br />this tug must have awesome bilge pumps, <br />and how did it catch up to the barges? wouldn't they have been swept away,<br />or how did the barges get past the bridge?<br />with photo editing software you can't even believe photos anymore.

Where did you get that notion, Happy? <br /><br />Many boats are 60% below the surface level in normal trim.<br /><br />Having read the original news story plus a narrative from the Captain (this actually happened about 1975) I am satisfied that it really happened.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
