I was hoping to get out to the boat itself and start working on the transom area. The weather has other plans. So, still a few things to do on the extension bracket, and then awaiting the feedback from the N.A. on the design review.

Heading to CA on Thursday for a week . . . Then after, I hope to be full speed ahead.

Power Went out about 6 hours ago. Fired up the Gen and it's running good, but ....... no output. Last time I ran it some 4 yr it did fine.

Put meter on and see 128V but only for a second. So propane logs in basement is good there. Up another set of logs with blower. Using a UPS and 2 marine bats so it will run for a long time.

Whenever I run my generator for maintenance, I plug in my heat gun on high just to exercise the circuitry .

I just got home from work. Going to play on the ATC now in the snow. Winds weren't as bad as anticipated and we're getting sleet instead of rain with the cold so that saved the power for now.

So far today I did it 3x and I’d say we got more than a foot, prob like 18”. I have a single stage Toro so you can’t wait till that much snow is done, you have to do it in stages but the single is nice because it cleans down to the pavement.

With portable generators they depend on residual magnetism to make AC power. So it’s best to run them with a load in them so that the magnetism doesn’t dissipate. You can re-magnetize it using a drill, look on James Condons you tube channel for the procedure on how to do that. I run ours once a month with a hair dryer plugged in. Works great. Didn’t lose power here….

The power has stayed on so far. I have not measured snow depth here, but guessing around 10" . . .

Probably won't get much work done on the boat until I get back from CA.

Map isn't very accurate, shows I got less than an inch, and got at least 6 and not counting the ice which packed it down

11" of snow at my house . . .

-1 snowblower (Toro PowerShift 824). . . I had to use the back-up machine (Toro 621) . . it is not as powerful.

As of an hour ago our road had not been plowed (private road)

We got about 15”-18” of the white stuff. Temp rose to 23*F today. Wind has picked up and there is some blowing/drifting. It was a busy day yesterday and this morning … lots of plowing and shoveling …

I made sausage biscuits and cracked open another bottle of gin. In the south, we just wait a day ot two. Much easier. Couple three naps a day.

Quick Update . . .

One of the re-power shops that I talked to at the boat show suggested that consult with a Naval Architect about the extension bracket. The Admiral thought it was a good idea.

So . . . I have reached out to a N. A. who is local to Cape Cod and he is going to take a look at the design and provide any recommendations.

I received the design review write-up from the N.A. . . . a few design & fabrication considerations, but overall things are in good shape.
