I just picked up an old boat and I’m not too sure what I have there is a tag but it’s not very helpful on what it could be but does anyone recognize what this logo is

I went through the listing and I can’t find anything under Lane industries even when I type into Google I got a lot of wood boats and nothing really looks like what I have is it possible I just have something obscure?

you realize that boat was made 31 years before the internet existed. so the only information you will find is stuff that people posted long after that boat was made and most of them were scrapped.

could be obscure, could have been common.

what does your paperwork with the boat say it is.

Did find a hit for Lane Industries in Saskatoon, SK where there is a picture of their plant where they made fiberglass boats. As other poster have said there were many makers of boats that are now out of business. Here is a listing of 11,700 of them; https://www.boat-alert.com/blog/discontinued-boat-manufacturers-list/

that list is only after 1984 with the current US MIC codes. all told there have been over 100,000 boat builders that have come and gone over the past 100-150 years. Many making only one or two hulls before going out of business.
