Yah, I was just messen with em a little. I have had a trailer come off before. Thankfully just at idle speed and the chains did what they were supposed to do. Still a shocker!

Boats do hurt people I stoped after a couple of blocks to check the trailer and the lights. Well got out of the van turned to go back to the boat shut the door behind me and felt a jab on my ring finger I pulled it away thinking that will hurt for a day or two, looked down and the end of my finger was gone. Oh ! I opened the door and it fell out. Did not hurt as it destroyed the nerves, now I have a short finger with a dumb nail trying to grow out ot the end. All was well as the boat and lights were working ok. Needless to say it ruined a good day of fishing.

Papa, you just described why i try to be good about always wearing gloves (and should be better)....my guitar playing is bad enough WITH working fingers. dropped 25 on a set of deerskins and i found i can wear gloves for a lot more jobs due to the flexibility...between those and the mechanix gloves, i have no excuse for not wearing em.

i personally LOOK FORWARD to the day when i can emulate The Great Kev and unhook the winch strap, get er going in reverse pretty good, and hit the brakes hard......with my donor boat, at the dump

That's friggin AWESOME!! Bet it took a while for your butt to un-pucker after that. I'm assuming that's in Florida somewhere.
Ever have a gator close call Kev? Saw some in standing water next to the highways down there a couple years ago and thought to myself "Holy &%$#".
