Hello I have a Evinrude Fisherman Outboard Motor the serial number is #6702D-E08720. I think I have a 1967 6hp 2 stroke.. not sure at all! It was given to me and looks like it's going to be a project before I get to use it. Thanks in advance.

A 6702d does not come up. Re-read the model number and post.

No, your right. 1967 6 HP

Wouldn't come up the normal way. Strange.

Assuming it's been sitting, change the water pump, clean the carb and check spark. Ignition system is points and condensers under the flywheel.
