Yesterday trim was working now it's got no power at all traced all wires and they look perfect I have a 2007 Volvo penta sx is it trim sensor ? Or will the trim not work if there is low or on min ?
Trim sensor is not involved in trimming up and down. First thing I would make sure of is that the circuit breakers on the engine aren't tripped. There is a separate breaker just for trim.
Replace the relays on the trim pump. You can get them at any auto parts store - much cheaper than the Volvo replacements.
You can also test the pump by disconnecting the connector at the pump and jumping the wires directly to the battery. Connect the blue wire to positive and green wire to negative to raise the leg and reverse to lower.
