The boat will live to see another weekend. The surge was still a foot or 2 from the bottom, so would have taken a good bit more to actually float it off there I think. Maybe 15 or so other boats on lifts around me, I think that jet ski was the only casualty. House damage limited to some lost shingles and a renegade chimney cap that I located down the street. Absolutely shocked that I didn't lose power. It was so nice yesterday that I thought about going for a ride, but figured that I already got lucky and would for sure hit some floating submerged object.
