only to the people selling the hydrofoil to you. they make moneyHave a 20 ft pontoon with a 90 hp mercury 4 stoke efi would a hydrofoil be of any benefit
I'm going to take a guess and say weight distribution and tilt.If anything I am trying to keep the front end of my pontoon higher, not lower.
I think it will actually do the opposite of what you are looking for.If anything I am trying to keep the front end of my pontoon higher, not lower.
Just seen a few pontoon boats with them on. Wondering if would improve performance. I run a lot with my daughters father in law he has a 24 foot with a 90 Yamaha ,we both are running a 131/4x17 prop ,he can pull out and leave me as if i was standing still had a dealer replace spark plugs and clean injectors unit just seem dead any susgestionWhat benefit are you looking for?
According to tach shows 5500 rpm . The boat is a 2006 princecraft the motor is a 2007 mercury 90 efi had a 13x14 prop when i bought it used it would go way over 5500 atwotSounds like you are dogging it out of the hole what rpm's are you doing at wot? I'm thinking you might need a 13 or 15 pitch prop. Plus what year is your pontoon and what year is his.
Yamaha is a 4 stroke tack is with in 50 rpmis his yamaha a 2-stroke or a 4 stroke? power curve is significantly different between the two.
