Are the two connectors shrink-wrapped in black in the center of this picture the correct location to expose and then disconnect if I will be dropping the lower end? Reviving a 1972 Johnson 65 ESL and checking the water pump/replacing the impeller is one of the last steps I have to do. Yes, I understand that they are delicate and that I'll need to tie something to them in order to tjread them back up the midsection....
