Hurricane bite!

This morning there was a gap in the hurricane, so my wife and I decided to hit our favorite lunker hole.





When we arrived, the sidewalk leading to the pond was completely flooded over, about ankle deep. I chose not to ruin my New Balance shoes or risk walking barefoot, but my wife wasn't waiting, made it out there and got to fishing!


She likes climbing on top of the railing and I couldn't talk her down.


And she met with success! She caught a nice 2 pound largemouth.

Recon I need to go higher when I fish, maybe the fish can't see that high up
