Hummingbird issue

I had my boat winterized last October. They also rewired the hummingbird so that it is not connected to the ignition key. Every time I turned engine off the hummingbird would turn off.

So today I took boat out for first time. The Hummingbird turns on and works fine when the boat is in neutral but the second I push the throttle it fades to a white screen and it doesn't do anything. I have a video of what it does and can post that if need. Below is a picture of what it says before I push the throttle. It says Low voltage. It say low voltage when I am in neutral and the hummingbird works fine until I push throttle and then it fades to grey.boAt.jpg

Apparently you’re right on the voltage threshold of the unit.

In neutral say you’re at 12.0 volts.
In gear, your at 11.8 volts

Bad connection or poor installation

No idea where they rewired it to but I will find out.

I have 2 new batteries

I added a second battery last year. The boat has a dial switch that says (Off, 1, All and 2) for batteries

Sounds like whatever they connected it to has load generated when you give it throttle (limiting the power available to the hummingbird unit), maybe they didn't go directly to the source/fuse?
