I have finished installing / glassing the new stringers and motor mounts. I am ready to coat the hull in my Tri-hull Orrion. I want to know what should i coat it in? Parts of it have been patched and of course there is new glass wherer the motor mounts and stringers where put in. Should i paint it? Some sort of water sealing paint? Here is an old picture to show the hull that i want to coat.
The second thing is; I was thinking of adding a ski locker. My floor boards are already cut and all i woul have to do is cut the area that i wanted to make into the locker. Any ideas on how to craft the hatch? Type of wood? Any prefabricated stuff out there cheap? I was thinking of picking up a piece of that plastic/rubber wood stuff and just routing it into a nice shape and laying it into the floor with some kind of support underneath to hold it flush. Any Ideas? here is a pic of the old floor to give you an idea.
