2007 Load Rite trailer. Need to replace rotors that have hub integrated. Taking off Tie Down 46264 which apparently is no longer available. I’ve checked multiple online and local sources. The recommended replacement is 46895. Unfortunately this rotor doesn’t slide on all the way to the same position. It’s 1/4” short. This puts the brake caliper off a 1/4”. In the photo you can see the shiny part of the axle which is where the prior inner seal sat.
I really don’t want to have to replace all my brake hardware.
Any thoughts on my situation? Thanks.

I can't answer your question, but the sealing surface looks terrible, even in the original location. I would be surprised if that will keep water out. However you resolve the brake issue, I would put a speedi-sleeve on there so the seal has a smooth surface to ride on. Was internal corrosion the reason why you're replacing the hubs?

That’s overspray I haven’t cleaned off yet from a spray on rust reformer. That surface is smooth. I’m test fitting the rotor. The issue with the rotors was rust from salt water immersion. No amount of rinsing can stop it over time.

Have you tried Dexter Axle? I had a heck of a time finding a hub/rotor for my 1994/95 Ranger trailer. OEM developed a crack in the rotor. I did a lot of searching but finally found a set that matched mine for everything except the grease seal. https://www.dexteraxle.com

Yes. That new part number is the recommendation from a Drexel distributor. It’s a TDE number also used by Drexel, which bought Tie Down Engineering.

One would think there is a standard bearing seat to rotor offset dimension.

Have you actually tried installing the caliper to see if it fits?
