how well will a 2004 lund 1600 pro sport handle bigger water

im looking to buy a 1600 pro sport lund and am wondering if they handle big water very well.it also has a 2004 90hp johnson 2 stroke. how good are these motors.any information about this boat and motor would be appreciated

Can't help with the motor part of your question, but can say that the Pro Sport only has a 20" transom, so it is not known for its ability to handle well in big water. For that, I would highly recommend a model that has a 25" transom.

ok well thanks im wanting a boat that can handle bigger water. so ive been looking at lunds and alumicraft and crestliner. i wasnt real sure which is the better boat. the 165 classic by alumicraft just seems a bit small to me. so i guess i might just try to get a 17 ft boat instead.thanks again for your response
