hi i have 1993 yamaha 115hp and have problem with the electrical part (cdi,coil pulser or stator).
The motor cant go over 1000 rpm when is in load (in forward gear) and cant go over 3000 rpm in neutral.
when it get to that rpms the rpm gauge start fly up and down
i think thats is electrical problem because i rebuild the carbs,change the fuel pump and i have the same problem.
I measure the coil pulser,looks good,but needhelp with the stator.
I have 4 cables come fro there brown,blue,red and black Plus two green goin to the reactifier.
Anybody can help me how to check the stator???
