How to take the lower unit off an old 4 hp

How do i takr the lower unit off of an older 4 hp merc? Is it just the two bolts? And also what would the carb adjustments be from set?

Need info quick! well i mostly need to know if there is a shift rod that needs to be released and where would it be? Under the powerhead or in the shaft.

You haven't given us much to go on. Model year? Serial number? Mercury made several very different models of 4hp over the years....

Well you see im a evinrude and johnson tech. But i get the occasional merc at my shop. But all i can find on the stupid this is a serial number. Its 2689124.
