Gee, I thought the boat had too heavy of a motor, an inadequate splashwell, was overloaded with gear and had too many people on board..

My observations while I was watching, too. The lack of a splashwell caught my eye first, then that heavy motor and a kicker motor back there, too. Every bit of weight was at the stern. Was still amazing how fast it went, tho.

i saw that one a few weeks ago. one of the crew guys actually responded to comments if you read through them. it looked like the captain pulled the garboard plug right at the end? maybe he thought he could pull it and motor along to drain the water?

Seems both engines will need a Full Maintenance out of schedule and budget, extreme undaunted boaters.

Happy Boating

I think this is a fake and staged video. The fire extinguisher shooting back to the sunk boat at the end of the video made me start thinking, 'fake' :(

To what end?
Loosing your boat for insurance money?
Her's or his life insurance?
So you could go pro fake swimming zip ties and fire extinguishers underwater?

For some reason that entire boat crew comes off as a bunch of newbies who have spent zero time on the water. Doesn't exactly seem like a professional fishing crew at least.

Maybe it is a fake news story :noidea: :D

I'm still wondering about the people . . .

Missed that, thx
Yeah, I missed it the first couple of times I looked at the video too.

But on the topic... there were a lot of seriously bad judgements made in that event. I'm glad they're all okay but with the "resale" of that boat I can't help but wonder if anybody learned anything. :noidea:
