How to replace trim reservoir? Mercruiser i/o

My reservoir leaks all over the carpet every time I try to fill it up. Nearly positive the old plastic is cracked somewhere. Finally got a new reservoir but I can't find anywhere explaining the process of how to do this.

hoping its a simple disconnect and connect but you know...boats.

remove the bottom bolt, R/R housing , install bolt

to refill I'm guessing put fluid in and run the trim up and down and add more fluid if necessary?
