This is a new install? If so, clean both flanges on the gimbal and bell housings. Remove any bellows adhesive from the bellows. Install bellows dry, (no adhesive/lube). Only way I've found to keep the exhaust bellows from slipping off, ymmv

If bellows are used, install new with instructions from above. Or, you could always just put the "tube" on it

Try to pre-stretch the bellows before installing. I rigged up a strap on my work bench and used a heat gun to soften the rubber. Heat it until the surface looks wet, and keep stretching until it cant go further. Then let it cool fully stretched so it retains the new length. This will take away some of the recoil on a new install.

Oh i didnt realize they were supposed to be put on dry. I had both sides covered in bellows adhesive.

It's a new bellows and both flanges were clean before i glued them.
