For clarification.......Towing a travel trailer. Boat and motor are stored in bed of truck upon arrival at campgrounds.

I know I can set up boat, floor, motor in launch ramp parking lot.....just looking for ways/ideas so as NOT to do it EVERYDAY during our 4-5 days of camping.

Set boat up at campsite and leave in the truck bed. Secure the boat. When it's boating time, drive to the ramp. When done put the boat in truck bed and return to the camp and you are ready for the next day after you kill a bear for breakfast.

Assemble at campsite, lift it into the truck, haul to launch ramp, lift it out of truck to the water.

Once floating install the motor, throw every piece of boating equipment inside the Sib, important don't forget the cold ones out and that's it...LOL!!

Sorry; I was out of town. Thanks for all of the replies. Good ideas and very constructive.

My truck has a camper shell so unable to load in truck bed.
With the Alum HD floor, it is a heavy set up even without the small outboard.
I don't always have help, so I need to be able to do this alone, if needed.

I found this nice trailer dolly. Little pricey, but light, exactly what is needed, and appears well built.

Thoughts?

I suppose in some areas you can not leave a boat unattended.-----The bears and other creatures might need to take it to do some fishing.

I'd like to build my own launch trailer, but alum is expensive. I priced out the alum extrusion, fittings, parts, wheels, etc....approx. $700-$800

once you add shipping and incidentals you will be more than buying it and having it delivered

I would still throw the boat on top your truck. stand it up, slide on top your truck cap, throw the motor in the back

That's a US local price or needs to be imported from Canada ? Solo handling is a tough procedure, if most of the time no one will be available to lend you a hand would be a vise investment. Need at least 2 to handle a small and wide inflatable which isn't a canoe.

Is the idea to assemble it at the camp, strap the boat and motor on top, tow it to the launching ramp with vehicle, launch the combo, park the trailer and vehicleat once has been launched, disassemble the trailer for storrage and transportation once the camp days ends ?

It is a US price and shipping is $129 from Canada

Yes, assemble at camp, load boat, drive to launch ramp, install motor, and launch. Reverse at end of day. When done camping, disassemble trailer. Most labor intensive will be getting boat on trailer at campsite. I guess I can assemble on ground near launch ramp and hand launch with launch wheels the first time, and then retrieve via trailer.
