Change oil, run for a few min then change it again. if its still milky change it a third time but i dont think it will need it.

Howdy,

Welcome to iBoats!

You might provide a little more info. leaving out the plug (which plug?) usually doesn't result in water in the engine.

You didn't sink the boat did you?:eek:

Thanks for replying.
I found the water get in the boat after a few minutes of launching the boat, and the water cover the crank case. how do I remove the milky oil before I put clean oil in? ( it won't get out the crank case !!!).

Thanks again for quick replying

When you change the oil and filter, use 1 quart of diesel fuel instead of oil when you refill. Run for 5 to 10 minutes and change it again. Within a few changes, it will not be milky any longer.

I don't know what year/engine etc. you have, but with most boats you "suck/pump" the oil out via a dipstick tube adapter pump - or via some other oil pan pumping method/fitting.

For example: for my boat, I have a hand pump that once you pull the dipstick out, the hand pump screws onto the upper portion of the dipstick tube. You then manually pump the oil out into the applicable size container etc..

Check out your owners manual or find a maintenance manual for your application/boat-engine.

Follow the changing method mentioned in the above posts. Should only require one or two "drain and re-fills".

Good luck
