Hi Kurt - I have used this product on my car head lamp lids and would not hesitate trying it on gauge covers. It worked as advertised and cheaply. Just watch the amount of pressure you apply on the lids and maybe start with the lightest grit first before going for the heaviest grit.

I am interested here can i see these star wars gauges? It sounds stupid but is it acutally star wars or just star wars like? I know it is stupid but i am really curious.

Lol ok now i understand, i am still laughing at my initial thought which was they were shaped like the characters i.e. R2d2. Now that my nerd has shinned on through have a good laugh at it like i have. Thanks.

...those look to be in great shape for the age, should clean up nicley. I heard Meguiars sells a product that would make that black molding just jump out as shiny and new. I use 303 Aerospace protectant but would be curious on the Meguiars.
