I have a 1988 Glasstream 192 Bow Rider and I am totally restoring it. I bought new seats for the front lounge back to back ones but want to build the jump seats for next to the engine cover. Any suggestions or plans on how to would be great.

Re: How to build jump seats

does it currently have usable bases, any cushions or are you trying to build ground up? toss a picture of what your starting with and we may be able to help you formulate a plan of attack for this.

It doesnt have usable bases as the wood is all rotten thats why I need to rebuild. I do have the seat cushions though. So i just need help with building the jump seat platform.
Thanks for the help

As in: what is the simplest way to construct a square box without tools like a dado blade?

Feel free to take a look at the bases I rebuilt. The first pics are on page 5 or so and my drawn out rebuild just goes on from there.
