I took my first business flight in 1971. Was a road warrior until 2016 when I retired. Now we travel a lot for leisure.

First, go to every airline website that is in your local airport and sign up for a frequent flyer account.

When you want to travel, go to travelocity.com and see what's available. Pick an airline and itinerary. Then, go to the airline's web site, log in and select the flights.

Easy peasy.

I find the aggregate website useful to see what it out there. Recently did a TN to NY to France to Germany and it helped know what was avail .
