If I go fishing for 5 hrs without using live wells on calm waters how much water is too much coming out of drain plug. Trying to decide if I have a leak somewhere. Thank you much
well, could be leaking seams/rivets. maybe residual rain water. If the former, need to get some Gluvit or 5200 (trick is to find it). If the latter, need to check to see if there is pooling somewhere under the floor, or water absorbed in the flotation under there. All depends.
I would say that the others are right....but don't forget if you are anchoring (and have ropes on your anchors and not anchor chains) and putting them back in the boat, and do that several times during the day, you could have a little bit in the bottom, but it would be a few cups at most, not a gallon or gallons.
