I have a small 14 foot boat. There are four stringers. The small ones are no more than 1 to 1 1/2 inch high. The tall ones are about four or five inches at the highest point.
I am using one layer of 1708, which is 25 oz. of cloth. Glastron originally used two wovens layers and one CSM. Maybe 16 to 18 oz worth combined.
Am I perfectly okay to just use 1708 and some scraps to seal in the the angled areas? I think it is but just want to double check.
(I just had enough 1708 to glass in two stringers!
and just ordered 5 more yards of it! A few days off )
